Liz has been teaching Pilates for over 7 years. Liz holds a Masters Degree in Dance, and directed her own dance academy, Andodern Dance Company, in Denver for 20 years. Liz also taught at Metropolitan State College for 20 years as an adjunct professor. Liz held the position of Wellness Director at Evergreen Fitness for 18 years. Liz has been a leader in dance injury prevention and coached both men and women in dance, weight training, skating, and basic reconditioning. She is currently a competitive country ballroom dancer and uses Pilates for her physical foundation to support and improve her dance technique. Liz had bilateral hip replacements in September of 2010. Since then, Liz and her dance partner placed first at the Oklahoma Dance Festival in April of 2011, first place at the Colorado Country Classic in June of 2011, first place at the Dallas Dance Festival in November of 2011 and third place at the World’s Competition in January of 2012.
Andrea Wood PTA
Andrea graduated in 1999 from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and in 2011 she completed her Associate of Applied Science degree in the Physical Therapy Assistant Program from Arapahoe Community College. Andrea has a special interest in working with the senior population. Andrea teaches the N’Balance classes and the Strength and Endurance for Active Adults 60+ class.
Valerie Gluth PT
Valerie is a Physical Therapist and owner of Mountain View Physical Therapy, established in 1995. She is a certified Pilates instructor through internationally recognized Polestar Education in Rehabilitation and Fitness. Valerie has been teaching mat Pilates and Reformer classes in the Evergreen community for over 18 years, and practicing Physical Therapy since 1979. Valerie has a special interest in teaching and applying Pilates principles for rehabilitation of her patients and clients with spine and extremity injuries.
Janice is a Pilates instructor at Mountain View Physical Therapy. She has been teaching Pilates for the past 10 years and brings a wealth of experience working with the senior population as well as fitness for all age groups. Janice is available for private Pilates sessions on the reformer and reformer classes. “I love seeing people take responsibility for their health. It’s exhilarating for me to be a part of their learning and success through Pilates.”
Cherie Pope-Eagen, PT
Cherie graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 1988. Previous to her physical therapy education, Cherie worked as a massage therapist, earning her CMT certification through the Evergreen School of Healing Arts in 1981 and recently has been trained in Graston Technique of soft tissue mobilization. She has been certified in The Balanced Body Method of Pilates-based exercise through Polestar Education since 1997. Cherie also completed her certification in The Feldenkrais Method of Neuromuscular Reorganization through the Movement Studies Institute in 1999. Recently, Cherie has completed her Master’s Certification in Health and Wellness Coaching and is looking forward to working with individuals to reach their health and wellness goals.
